Natulis Group AG appointed Dr. Esfandiar Khorrami, lawyer and partner of Bottermann Khorrami LLP consulting firm, to its Supervisory Board. Natulis Group is a developer of high quality properties in Berlin with a focus on sought-after districts in Berlin-Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg.

Dr. Esfandiar Khorrami: “Being appointed to the Supervisory Board of Natulis Group is a huge demonstration of trust and the result of a successful cooperation. Advising local real estate developers – especially in Berlin – is one of our core competencies.” Bottermann Khorrami has already assisted Natulis with various projects. The law firm provides Natulis with comprehensive advice on real estate issues and mezzanine financing. The two companies have been cooperating since early 2014. In an advisory capacity, Bottermann Khorrami was also involved in the acquisition of the “A Space” project in Berlin-Mitte, located close to Arkonaplatz. The firm was responsible for negotiating and structuring the transaction, which was relatively complex as the project was acquired via a cross-border share deal (Austrian limited company). The “A Space” project will comprise 60 loft apartments and be completed by the end of 2017.

“Dr. Khorrami is an expert legal advisor for real estate transactions. I am delighted that he is now a member of our Supervisory Board,” commented James Guerin, member of the management board of Natulis Group. “We want to continue growing in the Berlin market. Bottermann Khorrami is the ideal partner for us,” added Guerin, who applied for Khorrami’s appointment to the company’s Supervisory Board.

In addition to projects developers, Bottermann Khorrami LLP also advises a growing number of international investors in Germany. The firm recently assisted in a transaction involving 29 retail properties with a total volume of EUR 95 million.
